I had to mod the map a lot because my table is too small.  I shrank non-combat rooms and changed the location of some of the rooms and passages.  Everything important is intact however.

Mixing DF and Hirst Arts…

I am really happy with how the painting turned out…

Go to jail…

Go to jail...

New modular jail system I made with Hirst molds and wooden dowels.

Finally – I got some Winsor & Newton series 7 Kolinsky Sable Brushes!

Sizes 000, 00, 0, 1, and 2.  Just about every size I will need.  If you didn’t already know, these brushes are really good and should hold their point for about a year of heavy use.  Since I paint just about every day this is what I need.  The hair for these brushes comes from a weasel.  That’s right…a freakin’ weasel.    I also have a large shipment of Coat D’Arms paint that arrives tomorrow.  I got these for a $1.25 a bottle (regularly $2.75).

Why new brushes?  My games workshop brushes are terrible.  The hairs fall out every time I use them and clean them.  Soon there will nothing left but the twigs.  I plan on taking care of my Kolinsky Sables with tender love and care.

Will you be my mummy?

The mummy is from Reaper miniatures.

Reaper Ghouls and Ghast

These were fun to do.  I used cork to make the rock the center one is sitting on.  I also pinned him – first time using that method.  These will also be used in my next game.  I might make the middle one a dread ghoul boss and the smaller two just regular ghouls.

Reaper Skeleton Warriors

Just finished Larry, Curly, and Moe here.  Going to use them in a game next week.

Tavern Kitchen!

I have finished painting the Scotia Grendel tavern kitchen.  Here it is.
